Terms & Conditions
This is an English summary for convenience. Only the German AGB are legally binding.
Scope
These terms apply to all consulting and sourcing services provided by Szewczyk Sourcing, Leandro-Marian Szewczyk, Düsseldorf, to business clients (B2B).
Services
We provide supplier identification and vetting, negotiation support, compliance guidance, quality control coordination and logistics coordination. The specific scope follows from the package or offer agreed in writing. We act as a service provider, not as a seller of the goods.
Fees and payment
Prices are stated net plus statutory VAT where applicable. Sample costs, testing fees, duties, freight and third-party charges are borne by the client. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice.
Client duties
The client provides accurate product specifications and required information in good time and remains the responsible economic operator for import, customs declarations and product compliance.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence liability is limited to breaches of material contractual obligations and to foreseeable, typical damages. We give no guarantee for the performance of third parties such as factories or carriers.
Confidentiality
Both parties keep business information received from the other party confidential and use it only for the purposes of the contract.
Governing law and venue
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf, Germany, as far as legally permissible.
